Ved vurdering av dysleksi er det viktig for assessoren \u00e5 se helheten \u2013 for \u00e5 fullt ut forst\u00e5 hvordan vanskene oppst\u00e5r og dukker opp overfor hvilke oppgaver. Dysleksi er ikke det samme for alle dyslektikere og vil p\u00e5virke dyslektikere p\u00e5 forskjellige m\u00e5ter. En helhetlig forst\u00e5else av hvordan dysleksi p\u00e5virker hver enkelt individuelt er n\u00f8kkelen til \u00e5 hjelpe og implementere de riktige tiltakene for \u00e5 hjelpe personen med \u00e5 overvinne vanskene som presenteres.
